Returns & Exchanges

At Lake Effect Candles LLC, all of our products are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to us within 30 days of delivery. 

If you are unhappy with you order you may return unused candles within 30 days of purchase.

We are also happy to exchange New and unused candles and melts within 30 days of purchase. We want to make sure that you are enjoying your candles, so you will be asked to describe the reason for the exchange.

Shipping Policies

When are orders processed?

All orders are processed the date of purchase.

When will my order ship?

We will attempt to ship all orders within 2 days of purchase, however if an item is out of stock we will reach out to you to explain and offer any other options we have.

How is my order shipped?

Orders are shipped using USPS and UPS for domestic shipping. All international  shipping is done via USPS and DHL. During hot seasons, we recommend you tracking your delivery to prevent your candles from melting.

How are shipping charges calculated?

Shipping charges are calculated based on current carrier rates, based on the dimension of your items, their weight, and the available packaging that will fit your order.
